Love Birds...
Ok, I don't think these are really love birds, but I am amused by the fact that there were a good dozen of them in a huge long cage at the place where I went to get a haircut today. Whoduthunkit? They were very social and chattered up a storm when the kids and I went near their cage.

We had a pair of love birds when I was a kid. I just loved them. Nice to see them here.Emmie
They are budgerigars, natives of Australia. They may have been illegally smuggled as eggs - there is a huge worldwide trade in such. I hope they weren't!
In the US, we call them parakeets. They are available at pet stores everywhere.
