That's one scary spider. I dislike those creepy crawlies too.
We have spiders, very much like this one, called "Barn Spiders." I guess because they used to be found in old barns. Nowadays they are found here and there and everywhere.
The Wolf Spiders here are skinny bodied and longer legs. I am not sure but you might check Google images.
Baby raccoons. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
