Recently we hosted a group in our home and we served (thanks to a caterer!) a traditional Ecuadorian meal. Shown here is the very common appetizer of ceviche soup, which is a cold tomato soup type base with either shrimp or white fish. It is served with popcorn and chips to sprinkle in the soup and is pretty good actually

I made ceiveza last week...but as a dip. Nice to know I can do it also as a soup.

Carol...Did you have a MN bloggers gathering? Do tell!

And yes, I happen to think that I have a pretty nice brother, sister-in-law and niece as well. I'll try not to be jealous that you saw them today. :)

I like the idea of popcorn on the soup. I'll have to remember that.
Do you get to see your family soon? the 2 girls will have so much fun together when you do.

That looks different and sounds different too. Interesting.

I have celebrated this day, Mother's Day in my country, with a magazine cover for my wife. I hope you can see it.
