A color tour

The kids and I took a little drive yesterday (per my 6 year olds request) and so we stopped here and there to snap some photos of flower colors in the neighborhood. I shall share them with you over the next few days. My original goal that started this drive was my quest to find this tree above. I was on a street a couple weeks ago that I had not been on before and there was this absolutely BRILLIANT tree FILLED with these yellow flowers. I could barely see the tree for the flowers. While I wish I had gotten back sooner to photograph it (you can see that many of the flowers have died) it was still lovely to behold. Come back for more!

You may believe that your timing was a bit off, but I think that you got a gorgeous photo! I'm always drawn to shade of yellow, but these flower look positively golden!

From a distance ie without glasses I thought these were daffodils but now I see my mistake. A tree covered with these must be beautiful to see...
Glorious.

The whole tree must have been amazing to see. Your closeup really shows the flower and that vibrant color.

The tree WAS amazing to see a couple weeks ago...yesterday not nearly the impact and thus the close up of this particular section. :)

A very nice picture of a tree that must be brilliant in full flower.
