This past weekend the organization Extreme Response threw a Christmas party for the families of those people who work and live at the Zámbiza dump, obviously living in extreme poverty. It is an annual huge event.

This scene brought tears to my eyes as I remembered your taking us to the dump site when we visited you. My heart aches for those people.
Very nice. I clicked on "Extreme Response's" website and the U.S. headquarters are in a suburb of Atlanta but I've not heard of them before.
